Today I'd like to introduce you to a new member of the Crytek family and a person you'll get to spend a lot of quality time with, here on CryDev. His name is Marcel and he is CryDev's new Online Marketing Manager! Marcel comes from great industry experience, working with the The Old Republic at Bioware and on Origin at Electronic Arts.

Top of the morning, Crydevs! Today we have a very promising level design project to show you. Created by six Game Art Design students from De Montfort University for Crytek and the British Library's "Off the Map" contest, the level attempts to recreate the iconic Pudding Lane street and the surrounding area before the Great Fire of London, including Thomas Farriner's bakery, where the fire is said to have started.

Greetings from faraway lands, fellow Crydevs! Today we'll be showing you a rather unique school group project. Everyone hates those - except when you're tasked with creating a game. Five students from Carleton University, collectively known as Whitefox Studios, have created a game prototype as the graduating project for the Bachelor of Information Technology: Interactive Multimedia & Design degree.

A talented artist over at Polycount, gametime, has decided to utilize CryEngine 3 to study some of its features, such as the glass shader and POM, with a small indoor staircase environment.
