Some of you might have heard of Georgia-based developer Xaviant, but for a long time this team and their project has only been subject to rumor and speculation, further nourished by a very misterious web presence full of fantasy and dark story. Their special website something the adventurers amongst us should take a look at. But as of late Xaviant has opened up a good bit, allowing us to marvel at some of what Lichdom is going to look, and maybe more importantly, feel like. The latest entry to their blog showcases the design process behind a level, featuring input from Designers and Artists. It also looks great, so you should take a look at it. ![]() Not much is known about the game itself, besides the obvious fact that it is set in a fantasy environment and plays in first-person perspective. But, if you have red the "fiction" part of the company's website, you might get an idea what things play an important role. Even better way to find out: If you live in the area around Atlanta you could apply for playtesting. Read what other testers wrote about the game so far: Siege Report. Xaviant also released a "Visual Target" shot of the Riftwood area, which is rendered in-Engine and should give you an impression of what the visual and acustic fidelity of the game they are aiming at. Checking out this video in 1080p might be worth it. ![]() Be sure to check out another image of the Riftwood area and another concept below. Related Links:
