![]() ![]() Today we introduce you to CryJenga! A interactive version of Jenga created by Der_Herm which allows players to take it in turns to play a real-time game equivalent of the popular game. For those not familiar... Quote: Jenga is a game of physical and mental skill created by Leslie Scott, and currently marketed by Parker Brothers, a division of Hasbro. During the game, players take turns to remove a block from a tower and balance it on top, creating a taller and increasingly unstable structure as the game progresses. Der_Herm has recently updated us on the progress of Jenga along with plans for future adaptations and improvements. These include:
The dynamic top camera now follows the highest block in the Jenga tower at a consistent mathematical height which improves playability within the game. The game no longer has automated actions via a flash menu, instead an increased level of skill is required with the mouse as the system now reacts to the direction, steadiness and strength of the mouse movements, more accurately representing the challenge found in the real version of the game. Enhanced mouse control within the game We look forward to getting our hands on a finished build of this game so we can enjoy Jenga without the laborious task of rebuilding the tower after every game. Congratulations on being accepted into University Der_Herm Related Links:
