I think someone has rose-tinted glasses... :rolleyes:

Theres no reason why it can't look, or play better than the original Crysis actually. Technology has moved on considerably in the last 4-5 years. If I had the time, i'd even make comparison shots between the console trailer and the PC version to prove as such. :p

Looks pretty good, and the graphics look close to the original. There is nothing any of you can complain about here, this release has no effect on the pc version, in fact you should be happy that the crysis that you love so much is being released to a much larger audience...

Well I could complain about Crytek spending time on this instead of fixing Crysis 2, or making Crysis 3 :whistle:

Releasing in October, what a smart move EA... Not really sure what to say about this one. I've heard the rumors but it still comes as a surprise.

I don't know what to say either. I'm not buying it, simply becouse i don't have a console. Nor do i wan't one. I just don't understand this release. Fix the broken Crysis 2 SP and make it more MOD friendly, and the concentrate on Crysis 3.

At first I was like "ugh the colorgrading ruins the night scenes"... then I saw the sunset and I was like "Linear lighting at work! <3".

Seriously, the new lighting makes it look so much more vivid. :)

I think Crytek did a splendid job so far. It looks very nice on consoles. The PC version is of course superior, but Crytek seems to have done the best with the available resources.
Now please implement mod support for consoles! Crysis 2 can be modded on PS3 (if your PS3 is modded that is: (video was made by me)). It would be awesome to the max if it was supported officially!
