So, let`s see what will be their next "best of the best of the best of best all over the world, planet, galaxy, platforms" project :D

Sorry for my sarcasm, but i remember tons of bullshit about Crysis 2 - best story, best graphics, best this, best that... and at the end just an ordinary shooter with tons of critics from gamers.

You are familiar with how Marketing works right? I somewhat doubt Ford would go "Well, this new car.. its alright, does the job, but its not that brilliant. Maybe buy it if you feel like it eh?" with a new product being launched.

Maybe you didnt know that - but some very big companies and corporations use this promotional strategy. And it works!

Unfortunately my sarcasm doesn't carry well in text. I study marketing and management, and its my job outside of this, so.. Anyway, back on topic please.

Yeah im actually hoping for something totally different, like an adventure game or strategy. There are enough shooters on the marked these days. Would be good for Crytek to show off that they are capable of making other games than just gun barrel aiming.

well, you mean enough COD's like FPS, its bascily dev fault who prefer copy this game with the hope of conquier COD player ( Crysis 2 is the best exemple, its a COD ++ game. )

Just need to see "Dishonored" to see that somes dev are able to do something great and new in the "gun barrel aiming" game world ( well, at least it look really promising )

After, what is frigthen me is the "PC/Console" since with Crysis2 they choose to loose Crysis originaly to match as close as possible the boring FPS console market..

well... now its more.. "let's see" instead of "awesome Crytek will do another revolutionar game"

ive never played TimeSplitters. What was so good about it in actuality? I hear so much about it, but never was really able to play it myself.

Im hoping its a reboot of some sort, with Cry-engine Cinema at its base. Cinebox, as its called now.

From what I understand, Cinebox isn't actually for games at all, so I seriously doubt it has anything to do with this. :P

Oh I know, thats why I said at its base.. Poor wording on my part, but what I meant was a new iteration of the Cryengine. Or perhaps an RPGish Game using the engine. Which btw I cant wait for since every day I like to imagine Skyrim in CE3. it would be so awesome!!.

Give me money, and I will make you an RPG.
Not skyrim though. But more like TPS HnS with very extensive character development (without leveling haha!), that is all about killing stuff, and looking for new ways of developing your character.

Yeah. This idea is with me for about few months.

I'm not just throwing words. I have numbers in spreadsheets, and some notes about and RPG mechanics backing entire system ;p.
I haven't started developing it more in depth, but good base (i hope at least) is there.

Arcade type gaming - not so tactical. And most of the plot was incredibly silly, with plenty of comedy moments involved, like this clip for example (And Cortez was definately taking a jab at a certain Actor):

Essentially, it was good, solid, arcade shooting, and was fun to play.

Prolly won't get it if (current gen) consoles are involved in the games development cycle.
