Nvidia made great progress on energy consumption with the GTX680. What's your PSU specs ?


Accent 600W Dual Rail 20A per rail...in theory....Is an Argentinian OEM, so the label must be fake...But, acording to Cpuid Harware Monitor, the 12v lines are stable, even under heavy load....In the near future, Im gonna make my own PSU with 4 12v rails...

The main problem in Argentina are the import taxes...so I can not get anything expensive than a GTX 550ti (245u$d here)...What Nvidia can you get for that money in your country?

I dont want anything with more than 150 w TDP

I can get a 560Ti Hawk for 266USD = 200€ (Italy), I'd suggest rising the budget a little bit or wait for the 560Ti price to lower a bit, otherwise it would be a waste of money, 550Ti is not that powerful. :/

I wish to have a gtx 560Ti, :sad: but as I said before, In Argentina all the hardware is OVERPRICED because of the import taxes X( ...

Anyway, I play at 1280 x 960 in my LG 710E 17" CRT monitor, so , for now, with my GTS450 I have all I need :] ....
