In the documentation, under this path:
Dashboard>
Doc 1. CryENGINE Free>
Home>
CryENGINE Directory Structure

This is written:
The main solution of the engine is Code/Solutions/CryEngine.sln or Code/Solutions/CryEngineGfx.sln, depending on whether you have an SDK with support for Scaleform or not.

Does the Free SDK include Scaleform support?

If so, I can't find the CryEngineGfx.sln file.

That's licensee-specific documentation that isn't relevant to Free SDK users. The Free SDK supports Scaleform, but doesn't provide source access (which you shouldn't need).

Okay, thanks.

If I can ask a newbie question, which parts of Scaleform will I need?
Or rather, I'd like to use Flash and Scaleform, but I'm not sure where to start. Will I need the Scaleform SDK?

There are no external dependencies, you just need a Flash authoring tool and the CryENGINE :)

See this as an example: http://freesdk.crydev.net/display/SDKDO ... ashDevelop
