Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.I Update

Mills Grenade
The Mills Bomb was the standard British hand grenade during both World Wars and many years post-war. The version used in World War Two was the No. 36M, in service since 1917. Initially developed for desert warfare it proved to be a superior design and therefore was used as standard hand grenade into the 1970’s with over 70 million being produced.

Spanner
Finally for this update every army relies on it's engineers to keep the machine of war moving and the British Army was no different. The finished spanner below was modelled & textured by [TWDEV] Brrr.

The team is looking to recruit Animators & Riggers so if you think you might be interested please have a look at the recruitment page of our website.

That's all for this update, see you again next time. Until then be sure to check out our community forums and comment on news, post suggestions and become part of our rapidly growing community.

TWDev means Traction Wars Developer. The reason we have those in our names even in news update is because there are also TWCON, meaning Traction Wars Contributor.

This way you know whos who .

Very good models, accurate as well. My only issue is with the colorfull grenade. The model is right, but i think the colors are wrong.
Image I think a mat-metal would suit it much better.

Im very interested in how the damage / reload times will behave.

Doomlord52:
We got a historian helping us with the correctness of the models etc., and from what I understand, the "color-full" Mills bomb, is a variant that's more accurate in what we'll develop the mod too. As in where the grenade was in action etc.

Maniche

Keep in mind that, that is an old grenade, most likely one from ww2. So the color is gone.

This would be closer to realistic color.

Nonetheless you have a point. Brr knows of these changes that need to be made, but its pretty accurate as is (the render also plays a role in the brightness of the texture).

The rifle models are nice, I don't like the textures, to bright and not "woody" enough atm (just something it made me think of) the colour looks like some furniture form Ikea atm, ie : has a very "new pine" feel which isn't right at all for a a millitary rifle that has allready (literaly) been in the wars.

The rifle looks great, but the textures need to be grunge up.Looks way to new and should look more like its been used and abused.

I wish it came through on the renders, not sure why it didn't... but I feared a comment like this - the texture is quite dirty near the bolt mechanism, more dirty then I normally would do. It may be hard to believe me so once you see it in game you'll see what I mean ;)...same goes for the wood color.
