What is Back to Hell?

Back To Hell is a modification for Crysis Wars,
the content of this mod will deal mainly with a sequel to Crysis.

Many have asked for the aircraft carrier's mission:
"Huh? Over?
Cool, hopefully Crysis 2 comes out soon, i can´t really wait to hear how it goes on. "

And many are wondering, now that Crysis 2 is released (crazy, but a bit true).
"Huh? And where is now the sequel? Funny, perhaps i accidentally bought a Call of Duty?? No! It is named Crysis 2. But where is Crysis 2?? Where's the sequel? I have now been waiting four years for a sequel, where's the sequel? ".


Back to Hell
is supposed to be this sequel,
and because I think the story of Crysis 2 is good and has potential I just didn´t want to ignore ist.
I just wanted to fill this gap Crytek created.


But there were ever a "Back To Hell" modification?
This Back to Hell doesn´t exist anymore, but I didn´t want to let rot all the work I invested into this project. So I took the things Icould still use and discarded the rest.

Time:
Just like Crysis, more then 1 hour per level.


Who does all this?

Flow Groover - Teamleader/ Starter
Delta_of_death - Leveldesigner (He made "Project Confident").
Masterside - Leveldesigner (He made "Dead Corridor").
maniac2190 - 2D Designer/ AE Tutor (He is working on "Nuclear Cataclysm" and "Lost in Paradise").

Do you mean the missing thread, over a half year ago? I had no motivation to translate the text agian, so i hadnt open the thread again.

But if you mean the old thread, from the cancelled one, i promis you that there is nothing more the same. There is only one little part, which i dont wanted to delete, but everything was removed and replaced. [/bad english]

Yeah i remember the old thread. Perhaps I saw the first BtH2.0 trailer at Crysis-HQ though

Today Back To Hell becomes 2 years old!



On 01.11.2009 started the very first works on Back To Hell, the inofficial story-sequel of Crysis 1. Until now we walked a long path to develop the mod, a path full of troubles and changes.


We want to use this special day to proudly present some new features.

Story-influencing decisions
We decided to give the player the possibility to influence the further progress of the mod by decisions in important scenes. Besides one or two bigger decisions which will lead to different missions or level parts there are a few smaller decisions to make the game more dynamic.

Componist & Titletrack
In this place we want to present our new componist, Raphael Sommer. He will write nearly all of the soundtrack to give us the chance to make every scene more dramatic and atmospheric without using all the well-known Crysis-tracks.


BTH in episodes
Also we decided to release BTH in different episodes so we can release some parts of the Mod earlier than planned. Other advantages are that we have more time and room to design the other parts exactly as we wish to less complicated. And we are able to regard the feedback of the first episodes to improve the coming ones. We are planning to release the Mod in 3 episodes.


And at last a big THANKS to all of you which supported us and our project all the time. We promise we will not disappoint you

Because of experience i dont say exact dates, but i think 2012 Q1 or Q2.
