I'm loving the buzz bomb in your video, for some reason it conjures up images of a flying version of K9 in my head. Vey nicely done. :))

If you're having trouble with the video (as I was) here's the direct link; http://www.veoh.com/videos/v14254073McWFTmCz

As always, very very nice. How are you controlling it? :)

Great robot m8 I love your work, I'm defiantly gonna play this when its released.

I got a question about your dynamic cut scenes, I've done something similar to this and plan on releasing it, I'm just wondering would you mind me releasing it at some point.

I say how in the thread post.
There are three active thrusters that pull him upwards constantly.
There is one "down" thruster that pulls him down.

You apply a impulse action using a timer on these thrusters in different ways to control him.
For example the front-up thruster is right about the eyeball. I aim the eyeball at an object, using your 'make a object face anything' flowgraph, then apply the impulse action in that direction. I also apply a mild amount of reverse impulse action on the back-end thruster. This makes him straiten out and not wiggle back and forth as he flies.
All other directions are done about the same way.

But, yes there are some advanced techniques used in constructing him.
Most people don't know how to use constraints, and his front eye isn't technically attached. What I do is have a "eye socket" object and constantly move the front-eye to the same position as the eye socket. The reason it is not linked is so it can aim completely independently. It can even have a gyro-stabalized effect by reducing the move lag time to zero. (Good for first-person camera flying)

I am recording a video of him doing his follow action now.

Ah, for now just some keys on the keyboard.
I actually don't plan on letting the player fly him by remote control in my map. (After all he is supposed to be autonomous)
These tests were more to make sure he could fly and navigate.

I hit him just to show that he isn't animated in trackview and is totally dynamic.
Also you can make him chase his tail.
