Snatcher has kept me very busy...
Now I'm working on re-creating something from yet another Hideo Kojima game LOL! :tongue:

This "Map Pack" aims to re-create a total of 3 maps from the PS3 "online" component to "Metal Gear Solid 4" known as "Metal Gear Online".
Two of the maps were chosen because they are my two favorite maps in "MGO", and the thrid map will be chosen by the fans.
The maps focus on "Deathmatch" and "Team Deathmatch" styled gameplay and may end up stand-alone, or become a Crysis 2 mod.

I'm still working out a name for this project, so it may change to Metal Gear Online "Wars", since "Map Pack" is a bit lame LOLZ!

The project started as low-poly "solid" work in the SandBox 2, and is now being re-modeled in 3D to be high-poly and as close to the original maps as possible!
IF this project is successful I'd consider making a second "Map Pack" featuring 3 more maps where the fans will choose but that depends on you the fans!

Yeah...that's going to take me the longest amount of time to complete, since it's a really detailed map.
I'm focusing mostly on Urban Ultimatum...it's been my favorite map since MGS3's MGO!

But don't worry I'll have more screens soon, and hopefully some early shots of O_O

I started it only about a week ago now, and have only really spent 4 days working on ALL 3 of the maps.

Mabe i should play metal gear never have though nice looking maps hope you finish them.

Well I definately plan on finishing the maps....and sometime soon I hope.
(as long as I don't neglect my MOD too much)

I've been focusing on trying to finish up Urban Ultimatum first, so I'll have an update soon...It's about %50 finished.

Currently there's about 1k+ solids in Urban Ultimatum, but the level is only %50 or so complete right now..

Zippy24 : It's a really great map, and it will be the first to be finished/released.


XaldiN-76 : Yeah I've taken hundreds screenshots, so I'm definately going for a near perfect re-creation of these maps.
The texturing is going to be the toughest part though, since Kojima Productions really puts an amazing amount of unique detail in their texture work.
