You have discovered the entrance to the North Koreans base of operations thanks to the intelligence gathered on your previous espionage mission. The North Koreans have a large area of the mountains they have been using to extract and test their acquisition of alien technology. This is the original site of the alien activity and seems to be an area where the aliens are drawn to. With a new alien mothership in the area and a heavy presence of North Koreans you will have a lot of enemies to contend with, but you must survive in order to stop them and bring back vital information on the aliens interest in the area and the technology the North Koreans have developed.

This is a continuation of the z25 Reign of the serpent: The arrival

I have focused these new single player levels mainly around the new assets I have created. I will release all of the assets when I release the levels. So far I have several hundred new custom objects and vegetation as well as over 100 new textures for the objects.
Some of the objects I have created so far are:
Vegetation
Pine tree set; full and bare
Small pine tree set
Birch tree set
Bonsai like tree set
Bamboo set; blue, dark green, plain green, white
Oak tree set; green, yellow-green, red
Tree stump set
Vine set: Hanging, wall climbing, small, big, spiraling
Marsh set: Lilly pads, lotus flower 3 colors, cattails
Objects
Bridge sets: Log style, wooden plank, stone, steel, broken wooden, plus supports
Wall sets: 2 oriental types , 2 ancient stone types, bamboo type, custom entrances
Tower set: stone types for snipers and mounted gunners
Buildings: oriental type. 3 large buildings and parts to create your own custom ones
Industrial machinery type of building. Several large buildings and parts to create custom ones
Many new accessories: stone lanterns, columns, custom objective bases objects etc.

I will probably release this as 2 -3 levels depending on how the levels progress as I make them.

And try using Imageshack to do the images ;)

I'll download the earlier ones when I'm done writing this.

Looks very different indeed. The second pic looks epic, like some mechanical walker bridge thing.

Thanks for the nice comments. The first level z26 is a snow level. z27 is going to be a normal time of day that will better show off the assets. And yes I have put in A LOT of time on these, about 4 months so far.

Here is my most recent updates. Most of the recent work has been flowgraph making and testing. My work has slowed on this somewhat. Spring has got me busy. Here are some screen shots of the level and of the loading screen.

Most of z26 is done. All the major elements and objectives are in so I started on z27. This level will take place in the daytime. It will have marsh like areas, hillside areas and a mining machine area.
