Yeah. Something wrong with the SSAO or something. Needs stronger AO . I said the same thing, first time when I saw it : here it is a real picture who looks less impressive comparing with some other pictures from Crysis. IRON-MAN2910 : Well, the screenplay is for a full feature film but as only one person, maybe two - works on everything (writing the screenplay, animating characters, retouching environments, modeling, matte painting, video editing, sound editing ... and so on ) - probably I will not be able to make this too long. Maybe 10 minutes if I'm lucky. If everything will be awesome - then it will be pretty easy to find money and resources to expand this in a full movie (there are already producers interested) - made in 3ds max, even filmed with real cameras - or even done completely in Cryengine. - The initial plan was to do the full movie filmed with real cameras - but I'm afraid the trailer done in Cryengine will look so good - much better than a real live version. In that case - maybe the producers will want a Cryengine version instead.

Wow, those last two images look spectacular. Do you have any of these images in a higher resolution? EDIT: Just seen the last two are, they do indeed look fantastic. Hope to see more work from you soon! EDIT2: Minor crit for the last image, you may want to put some random rotation on the fern bushes etc as there are 3-4 in a row that are quite noticeable. But I'm being nitpicky because everything else looks fantastic.

It was a beast maybe 2 years ago. quad core 6600 (doesn't matter much in Crysis) , Nvidia 8800 GTX (old graphic card), 2 GB RAm, WinXP.
Cry-McGinge : Thanks . Indeed the fern are not rotated. Even though I carefully verify every plant category and check the "random rotation".

I'd like to help, I only saw the first page so far and I'm interested. I do visual effects for video. I can do voice also. Whatever it takes to help. (Maybe even stay out if you are in no need of help ) Now I'll click on the "next" button and check out the rest of this. Edit: I'm caught up now and even more amazed! This is the kind of thing that I wanted to start but I'm too busy with school during school time and summer is full of unexpected stuff. So I might as well help you out. For the Green/Blue thing. I think the green version with a little more yellow/brown would be looking good, my opinion. Is this your Demo Reel? I don't do anything close to that but I'm learning to blend live action with CG. My computer is almost the same as yours except I have 3 GB of RAM and a dual core. I won't be home until August 2, so don't expect a response till then. I hope I can help.
I can help with voice overs and beta test. If intersted PM me.

These latest pictures with flowers (and other pictures from here) were picked up by many websites on their news section. Or on many forums. In many languages also. China, Germany, Israel, Spain, Brasil, France, Czech, Turkey ..and so on. I just searched in google "raining fire" movie . Or "Raining Fire" cryengine ExciteWalk : That's my very old demo reel Right now I would need some character animation in 3ds max. But some simple stuff . For example : Scenes : - Four guys stand on their feet, they hear strange noises and they look around scared. - Or a girl sitting down on a picnic-like blanket. I have also more complicated animations requests but I'm not gonna list them here. I don't wanna scare you off It's good that in Crysis you don't really need to animate in Max the head movement. You can easily animate that in Crysis.
