I've been waiting for someone to make this car, I'm surprised it took as long as it did. Looks good.

Thanks for comments. @metal-matt: My purpose is drive this car in game with all extra time machine stuff which means when you reach 88 miles/h some parts will glow, generate sparks etc. and will jump 3-5 hours in time so map's time will change, sun position will change etc. This will require lots of work as you can guess. First I have to create all the cables, machine parts and the holy flux capacitor Then I have to learn FG of course. @Radcliff: Sorry, I didn't quite understand. If you mean my model, it didn't take long, I didn't touch it for a year because I didn't have time for that. But if you mean all the CG, mod society, actually there are two BTTF model (high poly) but none of them are exact. Not even time machine, car's itself isn't exact. I didn't play it but there is a mod for GTA Vice City which you can fly with DeLorean and also Doc's train. By the way, one of the porblems is there is no "one" car. I mean if you look carefully, in a lot of scenes some parts are different. Because they used more than one car, as you can guess. You see a cable that is connected to a part but in other scene it is connected to another part. Thanks again. Here is a little update. Wheels done.

Nice model. Kind of the last thing you expect the U.S. army to turn up in!

I don't visit the GTA community, I'm too hooked on this one. But yeah, I mean the CG society in general. I should see what I can dig up on Google about Delorean models.

Thanks for comments. @metal-matt:I thought about that. This would be great but this require 3 version of Hill Valley and this means a lot of extra work. But I have other things in schedule. When I finish the car I'm going to need help about FG. So I will ask a lot of questions, thanks for the help.

Sorry for delay. My friend came last week as a guest and I have some problems so I couldn't spend much time on model. Anyway, normal mapping in progress. I finished bumbers and lamps. Every lamp has separate material so i can turn them on/off separately. I'm moving slowly because I want to make it as best as I can. I finish the part, that I'm working on, when I can say; "yeah, this is the best I can do for now". So this workflow takes more time. But that's my purpose; to improve myself while finding the best way, achieving the best result. So I don't have a deadline.

MHh.... .if your making a back to the future mod, its best to make 2 exact same villages in one map, with a giant occluder between them. Next flowgraph a energy and button graph to the car, that will teleport you to the exact location next to the old village (or the new one, either way ) In that way, you will have a future and the past, and ofc. time traveling
- It's all about the bread.
