WIP, High poly almost done

Love clever done futuristic weapons. Reaaly extremely original one, Vintovich I wish you to rig its low poly copy and export in game sucessfully.

Thank you guys =D I took alot of ideas and mized them together, yea the Barrett was one of them lol. High poly is done, rendering now. I left out minor details like screws and indents for the sake of vert count. And Im going to use them as floaters to get a nice AO bake. Even at low poly fitting everything onto 1 unwrap is going to be a pain....

Ok done high, probly going to change a few things like, work the butt stock to make it more uniform. Then adding floaters, and low poly time, yay

Looking from its side i realize its a hybrid of Gauss rifle and Barret. Ah, man, how awesome is it from side!!!

Thanx Andrey. I was born in Chelabynsk BTW.. The way I Iike to model is not just to make something look cool, but also for the item to have logic. For instance, the flaps sticking from the sides on the body are radiators to cool down the insides because its its shoots the .950 Caliber round (largest bullet in the world for hand held rifles) as wast as you can cock the bolt. I would imagine that would get SUPER hot in real life.

Born in Magadan. Its a very important thing to have real life logic even for futuristic or even fantasy things. This is the feature which firstly give our brain an idea to judge unknown thing using already known real life logic standarts, and secondary im working in the special field of medicine + labour protection (u know "attestation of work places" and must know technical normative documentation like GOSTs and etc. in a suitable way) so i always extremely happy about technically correctly done things. So i'll keep an eye on your thread to shout if something is going with an infringement of requirements of USSR GOST 28653-90 "Small-arms. Terms and definitions".

Ontop reply: Cool. I thought the bullets would be something rocket-like concept as AA-12 has though. Maybe to make them more thin and long to fit magazine and futuristic weapon's concept itself?
Offtop reply: Unfortunately we do not deal with weapons themselves, but only with all factors those can be harmful for workers (our goalpipe - is health, not technical conditions themselves) in a process of creating, carring or doing something maybe i.e. weapons - like suitable storage conditions for explosives, or safety metalworking machines and unfortunately i wasnt myself on the weapon plant yet lol. I will take some huge wooden box from my home when arrive at such plant remembering about your request:))

Still I would Love to do something like that. LOL yea I have been trying to get ahold of a real Russian SVD for some time. Pretty much impossible.
