Download: Cry-MashUp

Requirements: .Net2 Framework

As gamers, you will be firmiliar with the term MashUp, so thanks to TYRANICK for the idea, this is Cry-MashUp

If you are not firmiliar with Mashups, its simple a way of easily mixing up different mods like skins, weapons etc that people in the community have made, and produce a single output to a single Mod. The beauty of Mashups is that you can mix and match anything you want and in any order you want, however, as it generates a mod, you dont run the risk of altering standard files nor have to worry about removing the files when playing MP games.

With Cry-MashUp, within seconds you generate a specific look and feel you like to a mod, the application mixes them, generates and mod and then gives you the option of loading the Mod to test. If your not happy with the result of the Mod (the Mash) you simply add/remove a new skin/weapon etc, change the order they load and then re-Mash. Its that simple.

The file is 20mb, only because I have included some example mini-mods downloaded from Crymod. The app is only 350k ;)

Image

Supports: 32/64 bit Bin folders

Instructions:

YOU MUST SELECT THE CRYSIS EXECUTABLE, THE TEMP FOLDER AND ALSO THE MODS FOLDER BEFORE YOU START TO MASH!!!!

So, now youve done that, click the buttons on the left to select the type of mini mod. The items available will appear in the list on the left. Hightlight it and click "Add Mod File" It will then appear on the right list box.

You can add as many as you want, but you can only add ONE DLL to the list.

Once you have your completed list on the right, you can then adjust the order they load. The system works that the item in the TOP of the list will load first and will work down the list. So, if you want to move an item, select it in the Final list and click UP/DOWN. This means the one at the bottom has the HIGHEST priority

It doesnt matter where the DLL is in the list as it is the only one there. If you want to remove an item, select it from the Final list and click "Remove Mod File"

Once you are happy, click "Mash Mod" and wait for a few seconds. When its finished (You can tell because the "Play Mash" button is enabled, the Mashed mod will be copied to your Mods folder.

You can now click "Play Mash" to play it

Adding Additional Mods:

These can be downloaded from Crymod.

If you want to add Mini mods so they show in the list, you must place them in the Mods folder that is supplied with this application! I have created folders for weapons, player, AI, Vehicles and DLL, where you can place the mini mod pak files. There must be in a pak file! If there isnt a section for your mini mod, you can just place it in one the supplied folders and it will still be noticed by the application,eg. sound ones can go in the player folder and it will appear in the player list.

Uploaded to Crymod Cry-MashUp

Thanks Fortran. :))

I forgot to say in the original post, the final mod will only be as reliable as what you are mashing. So if some Mashed Mods dont work, then its not the Mash tool, just the mini-mod/order you Mash them. (Does that make sense?), so solution, re-order the mashing :)

The next version will allow adjustments of stock weapons and vehicles and then you Mash the result, that will be a month away though, so for now its just a community mash.

Your welcome ;)

The current version will just mash the mods, like you asked for, multiple mods loading at once.

The next version will allow you to customised weapons/vehicle settings etc all through the tool easily and then you can create your own mini mod and mash that as well. There will also be a config saving option so you can share your mashes.

But thats after I do some bug fixing for CryTools first.

Wow awesome...

It would be soooo cool to enable things like sticks and metal pipes and other melee weapons...as actually selectable weapons (that cloak with you), coz i so wanna sneak up behind someone cloaked and clobber them with a big stick haha :P. And a portable singularity cannon would be awesome too haha :P, imagine that...? Smaller versions of all the tank weapons in your hands...hehe sweet

Vehicles too? Cool...would be fun if you could change the model of a VTOL to one of the fighter jets and increase the speed a bit and add the sounds...then again am i getting to complex here? ;( lol hope its possible some day...:D

Many thanks again :D
