How would i go about creating a lap system in a racing game?.
I have currently got a racing car imported and working , i have tracks created.
I just need some sort of lap system.
To prevent the player cheating , I think it would be ideal to have a method like this
Start>PointA>Drive-100-yards>PointB>Drive-100-yards>PointC>Drive-100-yards>PointD>FinishLine
Repeat.
Anyone ever tried creating something like this?
I would also like on-screen text.

Hey,
there is a chat command for Crysis Wars that was similar to that and only worked on Mesa.
It started a Race Session, with goals and all that. If I find it, I´ll let you know.

Okay,
these files contain the code. It´s too long as that I could post it all here and as most lines are pretty long it would be all messed up, I just tried.
I packed it, because the extension .LUA isn´t allowed.
Hope it helps.

P.S.: I forgot to tell u: I never tested it, so I´m not quite sure whether it actually works, but it should.

None, it´s the old SSM AEGIS, not the newer X version.
You´d have to rewrite parts of the code to make it compatible to AEGIS X.

Some early screen shots below, the race command got better and better then in it's absence i miss it, hopefully it'll return soon, the old chat command thread is below to. http://www.7oxicity.net/showthread.php?t=229

Cool. Got !race from a friend, I don´t know where he got it from.
Never actually tested it, been lying in my chat commands list for years.
