Not specifically for the ModTool, but with over 400 XSI tutorials available (some links may be outdated/broke) this is a great resource...

Bah 8o. I hope there is a way. I have a full town full of solids which could use some decent touch ups.

Post Topic: XSI: FREE XSI Instruction videos (5 DVDs, ~30 hours, ~400 vi
PostPosted 25.02.2008, 17:58
I think this deserves it's own thread :)

I've been looking for the to these tutorials for a while, and now I've found them.

When XSI 4 was released back in 2004(?), Softimage recorded these videos to explain the different functions and workflows of XSI.

Even if they are old, you should be able to follow them with ease in the mod tool.

I own the DVDs so I'll quote what it says on the case...

Quote:

This 5-part series of in-depth instructional videos and sampe scenes covers the essentials of production with SOFTIMAGE|XSI. Each DVD focuses on mastering the tools and concepts in XSI to help you take your digital artistry to the next level. This kit includes the following titles:

Rendering concepts for XSI [4 hours 50 mintes]
Rendering in XSI [6 hours]
Animating in XSI [ 6 hours]
Modeling & Texturing [7 hours 50 minutes]
Simulation [5 hours]

All these videos are narrated in English and the image quality is great, and you can also download the sample scenes aswell :)
