I found these for anyone looking for some great XSI training. I didn't see it listed but I think it replaces the ones mentioned in the basics area at the beginning of this post
Autodesk released an artists guide that gives all the basic information on XSI

PostPosted 17.05.2010, 23:24
SORRY TO DISTURB YOU
I HAVE ALREADY LOST MANY DAYS TRYING TO FIND A TUTORIAL EXPLAINING STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE
USING SOFTIMAGE XSI MOD TOOL 7.5 AND CRYTEK EXPORTER (THE UPDATED ONE FROM CRYSIS WARS MOD SDK TOOLS WHICH IS THE FILE "Crytek Addon.xsiaddon" of 1667 Kb) . AS YOU KNOW THE INTERFACE OF THIS EXPORTER IN THE "Crytek" MENU IS DIFFEENT THAN THE OTHER EXPORTER 2.4
......BUT ON THE WEB I ONLY FIND TUTORIALS FOR THE OLD EXPORTER AND/OR FOR PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF XSI. DOES SOMEBODY KNOW WHERE TO FIND VIDEO OR .PDF EXPLAINING HOW TO USE THE "CRYTE MENU FROM MOD TOOL 7.5 ????
Many thanks in advance
CIANO

I can only find 32 bit versions of XSI, is there a 64 bit version to be found anywhere?

yes there are 64bit versions of XSI and Softimage.

You can get whatever version you require through the normal Autodesk channels.

The first post needs to be updated, some broken links.

Also, I am trying to find a fix for an export issue I am having.

E:\Game Dev Stuff\XSI scn files\Exported\Douglas_firs.dae
Error reading the texture coordinates

I searched google and apparently it has been posted before, but for some reason the topic no longer exists.

EDIT: Did some Crymod searching, seems I am using the 3.2 add on for XSI but I need the 3.4 add on. Can't find it though... wish the downloads were back already.

EDIT 2: Still cannot find the 3.2 add-on. Had to use the 2.4 add-on to even get exports to work at all.
