My error only notifies me about ntfsdisablelastaccessupdate not being at 0

I really don't want to "enable" this , what kind of files are being impacted by this , lack of auto-refresh ? something important ?

Hi everybody. Its me. I have a problem with sandbox 2. It crashes everytime after loading...immediately without any report. I reinstalled windows 5 days ago, added one more virtual disc (now 2 of them) and after it editor is not working. I removed Crysis, Crysis 2, Crysis Warhead from my PC using built-in windows uninstaller. Also i removed sandbox 2 editor using "regedit.exe" list just according to Geo's tutorial from here:
viewtopic.php?f=285&t=66604.
Reinstalled Crysis and Sandbox 2. Crysis surely works, editor - nothing. I NEED HELP A LOT. PLEASE ANYBODY. 5 DAYS WITHOUT MODDING IS ENOUGH FOR ME!!!
Attached my PC config and editor.log here:

Maybe something with DirectX? But is it affect editor more than game itself? Editor.log file mostly shows shaders warnings and other small problems! Problem remains still.
HELP!

EDITED: hell, another problem is that Crysis patch 1.2 is not installing cause:
trying to translate: "Windows installer service cant install the package cause of the following reasons:
either there is no updating program or there is a danger of updating of another version of this program. Check if updating program is installed on this PC or package is suitable for it.

I have 2 virtual discs: C for everything, D is absolutely clear, though i saved all my previous files in it while reinstalling Windows on C. Then i copied data from D to C and deleted everything on D. There are no viruses for sure.

Shame on you, who knew an answer but didnt post here.
I solved the problem with completely windows reinstallation and installing original drivers for everything. I even bought new original disc with Crysis "directly from EA", so shame on you twice!!!
Long live Crysis.

Please help.
I just downloaded the Free Sandbox editor, and extracted all the files. Whenever I open the editor, it says i do not have the file ijl15.dll, but when I go to Windows Explorer, I see the file. I drag that to the editor, and the start-up screen opens. Then, a ton of error messages pop up saying I don't have almost every file needed and then it crashes. I don't know what my graphics card is, I have Windows 7 32 bit. I also don't know my graphics drivers. Help if you can. X(

What kind of graphics card do you have? An nvidia firmware update has been linked to SDK failures.
Also, you say you run 32bit, but the system log says 64 bit. Which is it?

Its been a busy day, so time to get a bit of structure, so it makes everyones lives easier :)

Firstly, if you are reporting a Sandbox problem, please do the following.

  • Create a text file in your Crysis folder called system.cfg
  • open the file up with notepad and put this line in it: log_Verbosity = "8"
  • Save the file and then run Sandbox and do whatever it is that causes you to crash/error
  • Exit Sandbox if it hasnt already and a file called Editor.log has been created in your Crysis folder
  • This log file is now full of more information about the crash than it had before, which helps us understand where to look for a solution. So please attach it to your post.
  • List what Graphics card you have, driver version and OS. Please dont list everything.
  • Give us as much information about what you were doing as possible, comments like "It freaked on me dude and pwnd my machine" will often result in your issue not getting solved :)

It will help you and us in solving some of the issues and takes 30 seconds to do

Many Thanks

Crymod

I downloaded and extracted the CryENGINE 3 latest version 3.4.0 yesterday; I then viewed your YouTube Channels video for installation procedures and extracted it into a folder on the root of my hard drive; Proceeded to run the launcher, ran the "map forest" command and after about a minute of loading, my display driver crashed and recovered but left the 'launcher' in a crashed state; I closed the launcher and restarted my PC.
I then attempted to run the 'Editor', which seemed to load fine; But when I opened the "forest.cry" file and after a minute or so to load, again my display driver crashed and recovered, but left the editor in a crashed state; I closed the "Editor" and restarted my PC.
Below are the log files you requested after having attemped the same procedure above with the: log_Verbosity = "8" line entered into the "system.cfg" file.

My System Specs:
OS: Win7 X64 Ultimate
RAM: 3GB
CPU: AMD Phenom 9500 Quad Core 2.20Ghz
Graphics Card: ATI HD6950 PCIE 2GB VRAM
ATI Catalyst Version: 12.9 beta(Stable on all other programmes I run)
Display Driver Version: 9.1.0.0 (Installed via the ATI Catalyst version above)

If you could let me know a solution to my problem I would be very grateful. Thank You.

Regards,
Hawk.

PS: Just found your post on a workaround for this problem by entering the following script code into the 'System.cfg' file:

-- AMD fix
r_GeomInstancing = 0

I'll let you know if this fixed my display driver crashing. Thanks.

UPDATE:
Yes indeed the above fix has worked for now; Thank YOU!!
Would be great if ATI would fix this problem though so we didn't have to disable 'Geominstancing'.... Come on ATI, GET YOUR FINGER OUT and get this problem sorted for the next Catalyst update, eh. :)

UPDATE 2:
May I suggest that all known issues and current workarounds are listed into a "Readme" file and included in the CryEngine 3 download zip? This would help anyone who is having problems sort things out without having to come to the forum and sift through reams of posts to find a solution + it would save members posting problems that have been delt with many times before.... Just a suggestion. :)
