Does anyone know how to make this work in-game?
I have a 1.0 ready to go, but I can't get it to work in-game.

I've tried putting paks everywhere, made it into a mod.....nothing works...

Tip for adding a youtube video to post. Don´t add full URL of youtube link. just add a part after ( /watch= ). In your case, add only this ( ngB7H8Y8yso ). ex. [youtube] ngB7H8Y8yso [/youtube] (Just delete the spaces after [])

yes it works only with Mod folder here try it, copy to Crysis2/Mods :)

I should have a version 1.0 up in a couple hours...

New features:
-New blood(nicer, more realistic, and better performance)
-Optimizations(on a couple explosions and concrete bullet impact)
-Updated some smoke/explosions/fire(worked on realism and performance)
-Updated Gun Smoke(DSG1 and silencer)

Because I will have to use the mod system(grrr crytek), I'll make one copy of this for vanilla C2 and one for Blackfire 2 C2. :)

Watched the video and thought that the sparks are a bit excessive. Not that it's bad or anything, but I would save that for an extreme particles mod.

Plans for 1.1:
-work on JAW and frag grenade explosions(currently, bad performance and not very realistic)
-optimize bullet impacts(mainly metal)
-optimize and touch up explosions(currently a lot of explosions cause a bit more fps drop then I'd like)
-finish water effects(they don't look that realistic at the moment)
-work on glass effects(most effects are quite realistic but the glass is hard to see)
-alien blood(gonna make killing aliens a bit more fun... ;D)

Please give feedback guys! I look for and find as much as I can, but I miss a lot.

@Bluedonut: 1.1 will have less, and better performance sparks. :)

Performancxe is better in version 1.0, thx. but dont like the .exe install :P
suggestion for a next version, the sparks dash from the ground and stay longer, I love this effect :)

I loved that mod! XD
That particle mod was a framerate killer though. I'm going to be revamping the metal bullet impact, and working on performance. In the end I'm hoping to get something that looks like that, but much better performance. :)

I was pressed for time, I hardly got the .exe out. If you want, upload the mod in a zip(or however you wish as long as it works well) and I'll put the link on the first post as an alternative download. :)

I'd like to update my plans for 1.1:

-optimize/redo/touch up explosions(currently a lot of explosions cause a bit more fps drop then I'd like, and don't look as nice as I'd like, updating a lot of the physics objects, in 1.0 many large metal fragments seemed to be floating, this is already much improved!)
-finish water effects(they don't look that realistic at the moment)
-work on glass effects(most effects are quite realistic but the glass is hard to see)
-alien blood(gonna make killing aliens a bit more fun... ;D)
-new sparks!(thanks to chicken's suggestion, bullet sparks have already been redone and I'll be going through the games sparks, optimizing and improving)
-Integrating Lupus' Human Gore Mod!(Currently working in game!)

This may become a '1.5' since it is actually going to be a very large update and a lot of work.

I may get a video up with the new sparks, so I can get some feedback. :)

imho stealth melee from behind need more blood, it would be nicer :P
