Yeah i really changed the tod settings on that level, to give it a much more real look, and I did it without increasing the contrast to 2.5 haha

Thanks bro, i will. Also i really worked on making the rain and lighting look amazing, it looks great in motion. Im really trying to go for that futuristic dystopian super city look, really tall buildings, bright lights, huge electronic billboards. It plays into the story line too, their will be huge billboards that say stuff like " Big brother is watching " about gov control and martial law. It will have a really deep storyline

Haha, that video was on my radeon 4250 laptop! I built a gtx 570 pc around Christmas so i can run it maxed now. Also i will have to use some occluders to get the fps up, even my 570 runs it at 20 fps maxed! But i will figure out how to get it very optimized once im closer to done with the mod

8o OPTIMIZE MAN lol. if your tanking a 570GTX >_> yea...lol. Is the map trying to load everything at once? Also you were mentioning a dystopian type of city have you seen the tech demo for Samaritan for UDK? Might give you some idea's.

Yeah man that tech demo was pretty amazing, but I am getting a lot of ideas from stuff like 1984, equilibrium, v for vendetta, blade runner, babylon AD, Irobot. If you haven't read 1984 you should, its a really good book, i usually dont like reading much, but this book was amazing, and really changed my view of things in the world. Also i will work on optimizing, i have a lot of lighting effects, and my polygon count is hitting 7 million! 8o

Well, i wouldn't say the TOD and the lighting is great.. it still needs A LOOOT of work imho.
In some screens there is no sun, it's almost raining and the sky is covered in clouds, yet you can clearly see everything as the brightness is bumped 100%..
I think you should add some fog or at least add some darkness to it, otherwise it looks unnatural: look at the TOD in City Hall map.

Which level, are you talking about ? The night time one where its raining is actually too dark in game, and wouldn't there be clouds if its raining ? About the others, i am going to reduce the brightness in the rooftop level, and the other one set in nyc, is very early in development, so I haven't worked on the tod much. But if your talking about the one in chicago at night time, when its raining, just explain a little more what you mean, and I will be sure to fix it. Thanks
