Nice to know that you did like the studio Stormfreek, anything you need just ask and I´ll try to help you out, now regarding the vegetation, their are propriety of the Traction Wars team: http://www.twmod.org/content.html , if that was not the case I´d be glad to share them.

First I´v took pictures from real grass, removed the background and created a series of grass planes in photoshop:

Them I´v created the 3D leaf planes and painted the wind influence:

Basically all I´v done were folow the instructions in the cry wiki:

Fantastic, really like the grass, sincere thanks for sharing the process!

Most grass when you inspect it, grows from a clump of thick brown roots, and it's great to see the colour variation(brown to dark green, with brown reed type blades ) in the final texture.

Your grass has an authentic feel(well it would based on a photo reference! but still the type of grass selected was great), most people don't realise that grass isn't just a uniform collection of green blades.

Great to see how much attention & work went it to create the texture it show BTW...I'm off to find me some good looking grass samples!! :cheesy:
