hehe, I was saying the top seems a little Small. But the reference that I'm looking at for the palm tree is like that too, so nothing is wrong with it. Just might be a little more interesting if you flesh it out just a liiiiitle bit

what i made last week: Ignore the smoothing errors.. its just a very crappy blockout. Currently im doing a fullbody repass to make the smoothing perfect and also to incorporate a lot more details.

Post Topic: Detail Map Magic Posted 01.09.2012, 23:14 |
So tonight I was looking around my level, and I noticed that my road lane texture was pretty low quality up close, so I figured I'd have another crack at it. Heres the results:

I really like that mtl you have for the metal of the Beretta, I am curious if you used detail bump for the brushed steel or if that's just spec? Quote by Olli.: I have a crapload of stuff to post, and making a seperate thread for every single asset would take up an inconsiderate amount of forum space, so ill just post everything in this thread instead. I'll keep the ce3 fp arms asset seperate from this thread since thats sort of an as-is community asset, but everything else i'll post here from now on. Tiles: Pillars: Date palm in ce3: 92FS is done now

Quote by Maximum-Dev: Really your sand texture is much more needed than everything drop it here xD Dude, don't post "i want this, i want that" go learn how to make it yourself, you're posting off topic stuff -- Olli, great job on the sand mate. And the tiles looks really good too, handpainted IIRC? -- Dat metal... This is supreme quality, I really love your style. Well done man How big are the textures? I'm guessing either a 1024x1024 diff, with same spec / normals / gloss?
