Post Topic: post-apocaliptic walker | +just wannt to sa Hi ^^ (update) Posted 18.08.2011, 16:26 |
Hi, my name is Alex, and I would like to introduce myself to crydev.net community and may be to find people to work together on some interesting project. I see presentation videos of CE3, and I love the way how looks environment and light etc. And I don't believe that noone will create some nice project with it. So keep in mind, if you like my works and you are doing some project, I am a person who want to create something interesting, with high quality and new. Here is my work I'd like to share with you: I hope you like it, anyway, critics are welcome! p.s. sry for my english. Regards, Alex

Very nice work Z_man. You did well on capturing the intensity in his facial expression. Looking forward to seeing it textured.

Can you show any other examples of your work? I am in need of a character artist! My project may or may not be on the Stand alone sdk, though I will be using Cry Engine no matter what

What modeling software is that? Mudbox or Zbrush? I can't believe that you can do that with a polygonal modeling software. Maybe with clever use of normals but that is very detailed! Nice job and I look forward to the texturing.

blackhorizon, I have old stuff which can be good enough for indie project (lowpoly ingame etc.), but now I'm building new portfolio from a scratch and this model is the first there. Actually this is the reason why I'm looking for some team to join - to fill my portfolio.
aceman905671, I've done this work with 3ds max and Zbrush ( ~14 500 000 polygons). And this artwork was planned as HD sculpture from a start, I didn't planned to paint it. But may be later I will, don' want to disappoint you guys. ^^

Wow, very impressive work. I'm assuming thats rendered inside Max, rather than CryENGINE? By the way, you've got a PM from me in regards to some work.
