Quote by Olli.: well, atleast theres nowhere to go but up. Yes, and your comments could hardly go anywhere but up, either. Maybe your next one will be just useless, rather than snide and useless ceylonfarmer - Is this based on a real weapon? If so, I suggest finding as many reference photographs/drawings as you can. Modelling is a lot like drawing in that you need to be observant. This is good for a first model . The next thing to do would be to get all the necessary parts of the weapon into their correct proportions. At the moment, the butt looks a bit too big and blocky.

You said you're still adding detail, are you going to add screws/ridges for a high poly model, or keep it low poly? I would probably suggest rounding a few edges to begin with. Otherwise, what Ilsamir Lord said.

looks like a very uncomfortable gun Search on google image before, and try to know at least a bit what you ll want to do. Not adding some part there and there

Not adding some part there and there Well, I don't think that a beginner with 8 posts is allowed to be that selective. First: I respect your opinion but he sad it's w.i.p. Second: I don't think he wanted to do a gun with googe-images as reference. So be nice and don't speak against everyone here
Back to work, but still very busy...just time technical flexible positions please

This gun is not very detailed, did you use 19812739182379128379 sides for the barrel or what?

I don't understand why this thread has attracted so many facetious comments. It's the person's first model. Even if it was the product of years of experience, wouldn't the reasonable thing be to offer constructive criticism? ceylonfarmer - What modelling software are you using?
