2160 A.D. is a first/third person RPG set in a distant future. Tactical and Stealth Elements will be incorporated. We will also be including a massive 182 player multiplayer!

The Main Characters

Albert Visco- The son of Herman Visco, an inventor of tomorrow.
Jason Arbenz- A bewildered P.V.T. in the Navy SEALS.
Trenko- A lost psychic teenager.

The Bad Guys

ORBS- Named after the glowing yellow orb in their chest. These are the most frequently battled in-game.
Group 7- A shady organization of cells and agents.
Visco Inc.- Inventors of the savage sub-species of humans called HYBRIDS. The company is run by Herman Visco.

The Story Line

After murdering his psycho father, Albert Visco finds himself stuck in a factory while a meteor shower goes on. The factory is damaged and strange creatures escape it. Albert fights his way out to find himself in a beautiful city. NOT! He finds himself in post-apocalyptic La Vegas where strange aliens (called ORBS) have invaded. There he meets a 14 year old physic named Trenko. They fight off some ORBS and meet a band of people called The Reapers. Trenko and Albert join them for safe passage.
Meanwhile, Jason Arbenz, a Navy SEAL fresh out of training, is sent to kill a crazy man named Herman Visco.When his team arrives, they find the complex damaged and full of weird creatures. Herman Visco was found dead. After killing off the baddies, Group 7 arrives and a firefight ensues. Only Jason survives and escapes through the sewers.
You then play as Trenko, who realizes a strange relations between him and the ORBS. He leaves the Reapers and sets off to destroy the ORBS. By killing their queens. Albert decides to continue as the Reapers Leader to help him eradicate Visco Inc. and their ranks of hybrids. Jason Arbenz then sets out to seek revenge on Group 7, which killed his team. Jason meets Trenko and by the body of a horrific huge ORB. Jason teams up with Trenko to eliminate all the ORB queens and Group 7. Albert and the Reapers kill off most of the HYBRIDS but is captured. Trenko sense his distress and rescues him, whilst Jason kills the leader of Group 7. With his last bit of strength, the Group 7 leader detonates a nuclear bomb, completely destroying Las Vegas. Only Trenko survives.

Backround Stories
Albert Visco. He was damaged as someone tried to assassinate him and his father. Someone wanted to stop his research. Herman survived the attack, but his son was heart and dying. His father tried to save him and put him into cryogenic dream, freezed him, while working on the cure (during assassination Albert was poised with the unknown poison). His tests on bio-engineering went far and his only choice was to change his son's DNA to bring back damaged cells. But it costed his son to mutate a bit. This will lead us to the lab itself where the player starts to play. Albert wakes up as someone unfreeze him and guided to the nearest exit. On the way he discovered that his father went far with his work and gone crazy creating the army of human mutants, but he doesn't know why did he do that. Later he finds that he is the mutant as well. And the guide told him to stop his father. So he kills him. But later discovers that his father was working on a cure from alien virus, which aliens infected earth causing different mutations. That's where he found himself in the destroyed city. He was dreaming more than 15 years or so. This will give some drama to a story of how the hero was cheated and betrayed.

I hear that using images which require basic access authentication to view will go a long way towards helping you get members.
Well, at least you seem to be head and heels above the normal type of person to post a recruitment thread in that regard.

We are still looking for some concept artists to come up with basic character, environment and weapon sketches. We also need a concept artist to create the official 2160 A.D. Logo!
