purpletalon set up these pages without permission and I feel that this isn't really fair: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=470339This is supposed to be a team effort. Also, I've had some issues with clughes and purpletalon not getting along which is concerning. But no worries, I'm sure we can sort this out.

Guys, guys, going off by ourselves isn't going to be helping anyone. we discuss, come to a decision and implement it. Quote: i hope you find coders to create those effects more like vfx artists you mean. Only coding that really needs to be done is melee combat and walker vehicles.

Sceluk has come up with a suggestion that we start on Hoth because it has lots of rolling terrain and hardly any complex structures. I'll be disecting the map over the next few days using the Battlefront 2 mod tools and hopefully we can start brainstorming some basic ideas. I'll post some screen-shots of important features of the map so we can have a better idea what needs to be recreated in CE3. We can then start building a very basic map (with place-holders) using the CE3 mapping tools. Thanks for the kind words Sev. It's going to be hard work, but we'll have fun doing it I'm sure!
Yeah, when we get a game together we'll let your clan members test it out. I'd expect some kind of alpha or beta by the end of next year if we make a reasonable amount of progress.

Do you know modelers, texturers or anim artists? That's what we need. I'll be taking care of code and logic, and both of us will level design.
rocknroll, I'm afraid the level files for the original maps is not editable.

Cool. Sceluk, have you tried mod tools and zero edit? I've got it working and I've been able to zoom across Hoth. You can edit CPs, textures, terrain, etc. It's pretty awesome.
I'll make a new thread now so both of us can talk.

Rocknroll, if you want to use our forum for private discussions about the mod, I'll be happy to give a specific part of the forum and add it as a moderator, because I saw that here is a little complicated to do closed forums. As translator forum so afraid, I think not face major problems with the native language of the forum.

Just a quick update. I'm currently messing around with the AI in CE3 SDK as this is a very important part of the gameplay.
Once sceluk has done the heightmap for Hoth, we should start looking at recreating the basic models (like the turrets) in Blender and then exporting them into the SDK.

yes ill give u my skype name and i think that hoth would be a hard place to start because those structures that are there are pretty complex and i feel that we need to start off with soe brand new maps that havent been made yet
like
