Post Topic: Issue with Import Camera
PostPosted 30.10.2011, 11:14
Hi all,

I have encountered another problem while experimenting with an animation.
I've created some footage and tracked a 3D camera in 3ds Max, that matches
the image well enough. I've followed the instructions on free SDK documentation
(http://freesdk.crydev.net/display/SDKDOC3/With+3ds+Max), but I could not
import data to a scene in the Sandbox.

First, when inspecting the generated .DAE file I have noticed there were no additional
nodes created ('AdjustUpAxis' and 'AdjustDefaultCameraPose', as per documentation),
which I guess shouldn't be a problem since they need to be removed anyway.

Than when I get to the point where I select Load from a COLLADA file..., nothing
happens. The menu disappears, and no loading or error messages pop up.

I've uploaded the 235kb .DAE file if anyone with expertise would be kind enough to
check. I'm pretty much stuck and have no idea what else to read/inspect to make
this work.

Thanks for any tips,
mzpotz

Any ideas? I've tried setting up a simple camera example in max
and still cannot get it to import.

Please advise.

Best,
