Basically I want my enemies to run at the player (and constantly know where the player is) and do damage when they touch the player. Does anyone know how to achieve this because I myself can't get it to work and am new to flowgraphing?

The damage can be done by Flowgraph.

You have to use entity:entitiesinrange and game:damageactor

Fit the flowgraph to your needs of course.
For some reason its very buggy...

Thank you. Yeah it is very buggy. I'm gonna see how far I can take it from here. Thanks for the starting point though :D

If I have the right idea, I'm guessing you're making a zombie AI? :P
It's really not hard at all, I got a pretty good one going my first time modding the game.

Haha not to be to secretive, but absolutely. I'd love some extra help. I plan on furthering this into a mod, but A)Cryengine in general really my strong point B)Textures are what I'm best at C)I'm also good at mapping. I plan on making a two map mod and I'd love it if some people would help with flowgraphs. The first map is almost done (well map wise and texture wise, flowgraghs still have a bit to go). Alright, here's my one of my old flowgraphs. I made it a couple weeks back when I was thinking the same thing.

You have to manually assign it to every "zombie," but it is beyond easy to make them respawn and such. I've tested it out with around 15 zombies, and the lag really wasn't bad. Now, I understand how complicated it looks, but that can easily be fixed. With this flowgraph, the damage dealt is random, and there is a 1/6 chance of being knocked down for about every second that you're near a zombie.

If this mod gains some momentum, I would definitely be willing to optimize it a bit for you.

A video could be up by the end of tonight, but the zombies don't seem to work when Fraps is running.

Thanks I'll try it out in a little bit. It looks awesome :D. I don't have much time for Crysis modding right now cause school sucks, but on the weekends I'll be giving it my all...except for this weekend (I'm going on vacation), but I'll be sure to get back to you on it when I get a little more time (might just devote after school to it too, thinking an hour a day).
