 Post Topic: Assets for Crysis 2 ModSDK
PostPosted 07.09.2011, 01:21
Hey guys,

This may be a few stupid questions, but I hope you guys could get me up-to-speed on this;

Is it possible to use some of the assets from Crysis (1 and/or Warhead) and its cryengine 2 editor in the Crysis2 ModSDK?
If so, the obvious next question would be; Is it permitted to use them for a Crysis2 Mod?
And lastly, if so, how would I go about doing it properly?

Just got this mod in mind and my modeling-skills are just not quite there yet and this would help me get a long way.

Thanks in advance.

Tutorial Porting Crysis 1/Wars Maps to Crysis 2 has lot of information about the subject ;)

Using C1 assets in C2 mod is ok..

Awesome,...

Thanks a lot. Now I also know where the Tutorial-section is :D

One other stupid question though. Is it permitted to do the Crysis 2 Mod in the FreeSDK? I just like to keep my things organized and don't want to (accidentally) mess with my original files and have 10 backups of everything.
