 Post Topic: Crydev Login
PostPosted 05.03.2012, 03:31
Hi Guys

Is there anyway of getting rid of the crydev login when the editor starts up??

I work about 50% of the time inside a university where the login can't connect through the uni firewall.

Also on the same line who do I need to get in contact with when I am ready to start shipping. I would need to be paying someone and i would need to make the game into an installable package with no crydev logins and such.

Thanks

Andrew

No there is not. You need to login. I guess you can contact the administrator and ask him or her to open up a port ?

If you are going commercially you need to contact the Crytek Licensing Department. Check out http://www.mycryengine.com for further info. Naturally there will be no login on the commercial version. As far as i know the login stays on the FreeSDK. Hopefully in the future they will atleast remove the login requirements on the Launcher side for the FreeSDK.

The package already contains a 64-bit and 32-bit Launcher EXE, which you rename to whatever you'd like. On top of that packaging the entire build into an install / setup program is a simple thing.
