Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates. The project is indeed still alive but progress has been slow due to my life being extremely busy recently!

I've been pondering the idea of going to kickstarter for funding. This would of course mean migrating to a different engine unless Crytek decide to release an indie license (you're losing business here Crytek c'mon guys!). I'd also have to work full-time on the project which would mean putting a hold on university for now. We'll just have to see if we reach the funding.

Since my last update, Day Z and other similar games have become rather popular so I'm probably going to be forced to change a few of my ideas. I'm currently thinking about putting an emphasis on building safe-houses and barricades, taking a bit of inspiration from Epic Game's new survival game.

All this is just hypothetical at the moment. I'll update you all when I have news.

Kickstarter have recently opened up to the UK so actually getting there is no problem. Fingers crossed we get the funding.

I'm changing the online aspects, making it more of an immersive single player/coop experience, with a DayZ style multiplayer as a side option.

So you're going to copy elements from DayZ? What ever happened to your original ideas.

I was looking around on kick starter and I found this other game that seems similar to your plans, it is called the dead lingers. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/san ... r?ref=live It has procedural generating and stuff, but it doesn't seem the greatest.
