I vote for survival. But it takes a lot to make it right. So you better focus on your capabilities and not only what WE would like to see.

I love the inventory and stormy weather, but i think everything will look better if black radial corners of camera are removed. Now it looks like character is walking with swimming mask on his face. :)

I vote survival if you can pull it off, not many games or mods out there that focus on that type of gameplay.

I vote for survival too, just don't make it too difficult to be frustrating and hinder the research objectives too much. :)

Great!

Thank you for your help. I will therefore focus on the survival and try to make it as fun as possible :)

However, the development will take a while I still can not define. Also I'm working on a second project requiring shorter but a lot of work in modeling and scripting. That said, this project will allow me to gain more knowledge, so that you benefit from a better quality for 4:22.

While it depends on what you want to achieve with your game I would personally go with the"ultra realistic" gameplay simply because it will immerse the player if implemented right. Either way I am very curious into seeing you progress :)

yes, I figured :D More curious to know how he created the alpha textures for the storm itself, they looked really good.

so if its a survival game how will it work I mean, is it only desert? any other maps perhaps?

will you be able to make shelters from wood and so on, getting food etc?
If yes I willlll love it as I love survival games like that (specially something similar to wurm online)

Hmm I read the whole topic and I love it ! By the way are you in full understanding of the djinn? Demons born from smokeless fire . Original djinn(real life) cant die from bullets , they can teleport and have supernatural powers.... do you really think your character can kill them? btw please don't add the djinn in uncharted ..... they looked stupid honestly it takes like 3 shots to kill a human and 6 to kill a djinn . Honestly I found that quite unrealitic and crap to be honest
