Learn modelling, and make your own buildings not made of solids. They look kinda horrible and aren't very performance intensive. You can also include occlusion proxies into your custom meshes which makes objects behind it not render to increase the FPS. I'd suggest you to learn 3DS Max because it's the best-supported program currently and there is a free student version out there. students.autodesk.comIf you really want to recruit people you have to post some more content than what you already have now. Anyways, I see this is your first project and I have to say my first levels were way more worse than yours.

But the problem is that with complex assets it always gives me the faces error. I downloaded google sketchup, and things came out pretty cool. I can export objects to cryengine. But from what i have understood, its pretty hard to export complex wepons, objects etc. I dont think that crytek or big game companies, use 3dsmax, maya, sketchup to make and export objects into cryengine as I do. Btw NeoLegends, can u show some of your work? Just to have an idea what can i do with 3dsmax. Most game studios use 3ds Max or Maya for modelling...

I only have some unfinished untextured models to show.

Quote by Nuclear_boom: But the problem is that with complex assets it always gives me the faces error. If you get the degenerated faces error you can't model. Degenerate faces mean there's a tri with no area. A face like an edge. Try welding all vertices with an offset of 0,1 to remove every double vert. However, this doesn't work in some cases and you'll need to fix it manually. Use the STL check modifier to find the DFs. It's unnecessary and reduces performance. Meshes with DFs shouldn't be used in production, where performance is the A and O of the game. Unfortunately the RC doesn't let you export it because of these faces. In my opinion it should warn you but let you export your model.

Ah sorry, this wasn't meant to be rude. German 2 English fail. Anyways, having degenerate faces errors means you messed up your model.
