I don't know much about programming and game engines, nor do I know where to start learning about them.

I know there are uber modders here, programmers, and other experienced users who, someday, want to work for Crytek.

I will add that the Wiki here is not for the beginner, and someone who has no background knowledge of programming and computers will never benefit from it.

Please help me start, game engines or programming, it does not matter, I just don't want to be a beginner anymore.

Is it programming in specific the thing you want to learn? Because to get started making stuff with CryEngine you don't really need any programming knowledge.

Also check out the tutorial section of the forums. There's a lot of stuff already in video form that's easy to follow.

Nice, I did not know about the dashboard, although it does not include introductory guides for the beginner.
I am looking to program the engine rather than creating maps in it.
I am interested in the code, actually what makes the engine, so to speak.

For the sort of programming you are talking about most people get college and university degrees. Or at least some years of experience.

I'd recommend looking for books if you're serious about this.

I have some time until college so buying books is an option, do you have any recommendations?

I figured I would also have to learn math, physics and cs.

There are a ton of languages out there. C++ is the industry standard for games, but I wouldn't recommend you start with that as it's a bit advanced.
