Quote by Duruk: Quote by Ghibli: Sad news, the level i was working on got corrupted tonight, i've tried different kind of fixes : .bak to .cry, open the xml editor to find some duplicate elements that may cause problems, rebuild a new archive with Izarc and winrar, but nothing works, the editor just crash nearly at the end of the loading bar. I'm just (insert any bad words here)... So, good luck to everyone, there are some great entries in this competition. Thats sad to hear. I usually save my level under a different version name every hour so I can always go back to a previous version if something goes wrong. And of course back up the whole level once a day. that's what i usually do, but due to the that there was no gameplay involved, i just thougt that back ups were not a priority. Xaldin already tried to help, but with no sucess.

The same way as with TIF / DDS. In the Diffused section. Might consider to convert the image first though.

In my solid tutorial there is a chapter on how to texture a solid. In that chapter there are some tips on how to create a texture including a link to a free graphics program. The link for my tutorial is below in my signature.
Sorry can' t post the direct link since im typing this on my blackberry

See chapter 1.14 of my tutorial: wiki/index.php/Solid_Tool#Multi_Texturing_SolidsDo note that considering the many vertexex on your solid this probably will be to hard. 3) Cut the walls with the Clipping tool. Fubz and I have written a tutorial on it for CE2 ( wiki/index.php/Solid_Tool#Clipping_Tool_.28by_Fubz.29 ) But it works differently in CE3. I haven't had the time yet to explain the CE3 method.

Time's up folks! Thanks to everyone who participated! Now comes the really difficult part of choosing winners! The staff team will now go through the entries and decide on a winner. This will be during the week and we'll post up an announcement when the winners are chosen FYI: No more threads can be created in this section so if you have any questions please use this thread
No dev/modding PM's please, use the forums! :)
