 Post Topic: Texture display problem
PostPosted 11.03.2012, 00:18
When I open the material editor and click on a texture the preview display thing is blank.
Then if I assign the texture where it says material it has the letter X
and in game it just says Replace Me.

What is going on and how can I fix this? ?(

Some pics

Thats just a example of the blank texture preview not the actual texture I used.
The texture I used was not a sub-material.

Thanks in advance

You can not assign a Sub-Material directly. You must assign the base material (in your case it is cliff_island_is4_3d).

Found this in the Known bugs.

"Some materials in the Material Editor show up completely black
We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it ASAP.
A quick fix can be to set opacity to ‘99’ to preview it."

thanks
