So why use Live?
The only thing I can think of is that they make another game for 360. Crysis:Tactial or something and then allow 360 gamers with this game to play PC gamers with warhead.
Even if gamespy has been a pain, its still better than Windows Live. Have you even tried to use it? Its horrible

Which ever way, Live sucks and it is the biggest pain in the ass ever. To but it simple..it sucks. Why not just stick to gamespy... Gamespy has been nothing but trouble for the last month, nearly killed the MP community. correct me if i'm wrong .. but isn't life that stuff you gotta pay for ??? like all the 360 gamers ??? Hmm you might be right, I think you normally get the first month (or months) free and then you subscribe. Not an issue for SP gamers but it is a potential drag for MP.

So this is the big announcement about the thing you guys have been working on since 1.2. I knew there was a reason why psyco didn't die. As long as we don't have to pay to play online I'm fine with it.

Silver membership of LIVE is free and i can't see why you would need any more than that for crysis-warhead.
Given the horridness of gamespy i cant see how LIVE could be much worse - but ive never tried it. Would this impact on anti cheat as well? Maybe it will be stronger than with gamespy? That would be a VERY good reason for the change.

As long as the interface for servers stays the same.
It looks nothing like Windows Live on other games
Its free, and simple to use
I probably wont have a problem
