Today both Crytek and Electronic Arts are extremely happy to announce to the community that Crysis Warhead and Crysis Wars (the multiplayer package included with Warhead) have gone gold! Both will ship to stores on September 12th in Europe and September 16th in North America. Here is a special note from Crysis Senior Game Designer and Franchise Producer Bernd Diemer: Quote: Hello everyone. We're happy to announce today to you that Warhead has gone gold! I've already preordered my copy  Gone "Gold" means they are finished making and are begining to make copies to ship

It means that they started making the actual copies of warhead.
