In today's news post, we will be featuring a new update from
Frozen Colony, a fan-made Crysis Modification designed with
CryENGINE 2 which is being developed by two Vassallo brothers from Malta, CryDev user:

Frozen Colony is a fan-made spinoff set in the Crysis Universe; introducing a new storyline with a new cast of characters, locations and an original soundtrack.
Frozen Colony was featured on CryDev in
July 2012,
June 2012,
March 2012 and
September 2011.
In today's update, we will be featuring details about the current development-stage of the project, a new set of screenshots, the release of Frozen Colony's official facebook page and more announcements!
New Details & MediaAnswering many of the followers regarding the game's development status; the brothers behind the project would like to emphasize that Frozen Colony is still in development and you can rest assured that it will not be abandoned.
2 Player Entertainment state that Frozen Colony needs some more time to be completed.
Unfortunately the team cannot provide a release date yet, and while they are doing their best to complete it and release it by this year; they would like to ask their followers to bear with them and to keep in mind that for a small team such as themselves, it is quite time-consuming to develop a project of such scale - containing over 13 fully-detailed levels for the entire project and with the completion duration being comparable with several retail-games. The team members will put all their effort and work hard, hoping to please all their followers and to make the long-wait worth in the end.
2 Player Entertainment state that since Frozen Colony is a fan-made Spinoff set in the Crysis Universe; the Vassallo brothers - the developers and also being the writers of the story, have played all of the Crysis games countless times, studied the comics and paid close attention to every little detail in the Crysis Universe.
Their main focus for Frozen Colony is to deliver a great cinematic experience with a fitting storyline, exciting gameplay, an epic soundtrack, movie-like cutscenes and dialogue, but most of all with an aim to make Crysis fans experience what it's like to be the weapon one more time in this action-packed adventure!
