Looks more innovative than the second game. But the initial announcement telling us more about what we get by pre-ordering than about the actual game isnt the best method of advertisement in my opinion.
And I fear we will have to suffer another mute main character whos arsenal consists of pressing 2 buttons to win. God I miss the first nanosuit.

I do not know, but this does not sound good... Revenge? Sounds like a COD remake. But I can not know, so I will keep quite about that.
But I think that setting the game back in New York was a mistake. Crysis 2 did it, and I hoped that Crysis 3 would be in a different location altogether. I loved the setting of Crysis, but since it is a great game on its own, I would not think that C3 should be back on an island. But certainly not in new york... Britain, anyone? Anything!
Anyhow, did Prophet not shoot himself??? I am confused...

Great news on the announcement! I've been wondering when Crytek would announce the last chapter in their trilogy. However, I'm not so excited about the stage being set in New York once again. It would appear that the story of Crysis is wearing a bit thin, now, and Crytek has run out of ideas. The new storyline doesn't seem to carry the characteristics of that of Crysis 1 and Warhead. But, seeing this is a new game, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. I do like the looks of that compound bow.

Anyhow, did Prophet not shoot himself??? I am confused... Actually it sounds like it will be in a number of different environments thanks to the Bio Domes. Smart in my opinion. Also, Prophet's mind was still in the suit and combined with Alctraz at the end of C2. And please....don't start throwing terms around like "COD Remake" because the word "Revenge" is in the press release! How does that one word define the gameplay which is the most important part? I don't mean to sound harsh but do we have to start complaining this early?

I hope this is going to be amazing, and itll be interesting what engine they will be using to make it (will they stick with the brand new CryEngine 3 or have they been secretly producing a beyond state-of-the-art CryEngine 4) I really looking forward to this game.

Not that I expect many bow huntsmen to buy this game, but lol 'the hunt is on' and how he's holding that thing.

I was not complaining, but simply stated my fears. The first Crysis... It was a thing to be worshipped by those with old computers, and a beauty to be enjoyed by wealthy gamers. Crysis 2 had a somewhat fun gameplay, but it was nowhere near as good as Crysis, though it did bring some interesting elements and a nanosuit with a better feel to it. Crysis 3... I simply hope that it will be better

Placing the game in new york again is just a cheap way of reducing game design times by recycling old props and game assets. This may as well be a dlc for crysis 2
