Post Topic: Get logged out automatically Posted 24.06.2012, 21:49 |
Hi guys, I'm having problems with the Crydev forums: sometimes when I log in and want to access random pages, like UCP or so, the page shows me, that I don't have permissions to use this page and I should either login or create a new account. Then I log in again and everything works fine. This happens during one session (so while the browser window is opened), and it has probably something to do with Operas new released version 12, but I'm not sure if the problem occured earlyer. Does this happen to other users, too?

Are you using Opera or is this error not browser specific?

The site invalidates your user session when your IP address changes, check you're not being assigned a new IP mid-browsing session.

I've had this issue for as long as I've been a member here, and I'm also on a ton of other forums (some of which I've built myself, being a web developer by profession) and nowhere else do I have this issue of suddenly being logged out - often only within 5 minutes after having logged in - as I constantly do here, so something is definitely wrong somewhere with the validated session handling code.
I'm using Firefox and also have the same static IP always, it never changes.

You have posted from a few different IPs from the same subnet so it doesn't appear to be static from here.
No dev/modding PM's please, use the forums! :)
