Sorry for a late update this week. Been busy with other stuff. This pic is a few days old so I've done more than shown here, so just keep that in mind!
This pic is showcasing an earthquake area in the map. I think I've shown other areas of it before.
@ iSqueezee: Fairly easy. I simply placed a few animobjects and opened some static poses of NK soliders. The muzzleflashes are brushes. The frozen particles are simply particles after generating surface textures. For some reason my smoke and fire particles freeze every time I generate textures.
Nice work Vulture, this pic show something more "new" than the previous one that I might have seen in previous media pictures or vids. I like it, though I am wondering what's the black light smoke on the right ?
Maybe im mistaking, but i think i see new textures on this last picture. Trees branches need more rare leaves placement in each branch and these branches must be more curved on corners than flat. Also crysis vegetation normals are so special, that they do not make shine each leaf of the branch, but only few of them. Crysis normals can not be generated in Crazy bump from original texture, but must be first painted by hand...
It's still being worked on guys. Sorry for not updating every week like I promised, just been a little busy learning Maya and some other stuffs. ^^
I got a new GPU earlier this month and I was thinking about "celebrating" that with a new video. How's that sound? (:
I hope its the 670GTX Lightning, coz ill be getting either that one or the 4GB 690GTX Signature Edition. (Its not a waste of money if you're going into the gaming industries /w video rendering, high poly model making etc. for at least 6 years )

Today we celebrate the birth of the close function, dealing with pointless threads since forever.
The 690 is too expensive for me, heh. I got the ASUS GeForce GTX 680 2GB. The cooling on this thing is absolutely amazing. My last card (HD 5970) idled at around 50 C, and 70 C under load. This card idles at 24 C and won't even reach 50 C in load, all games maxed out. I'm really happy with it so far.
But enough about that. I'll make sure to capture some gameplay snips of the map when I have time.
So yeah. Anyone subscribed to my channel might have seen the video I uploaded last night. I didn't record a fancy trailer or anything, just a few minutes of random scenes. I tried to show as many different locations as possible, without spoiling anything major of course. But because of the sloppy editing you might see some hiccups, some unfinished areas and stuff like that. So just keep that in mind! Here's the video, hope you enjoy. (:
