Welcome to part
7 of our
Crysis Video/Machinima series! In the
last series we showed you a mix of a physics and art video. Today we would like to present you two short but well done atmospherical and thought provoking videos created by
General Willy.
Through The NightThe first video is called
Through The Night and shows you the extremes between the beauty of Crysis itself and the negative aspects of war. Combined with the music of
"Libera Me" by
John Eliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi Choir it is a strong contrast between war and art.

My newest video details the fight through the night, and the aftermath in the morning, of multiple battles. I constructed each scene in the Sandbox 2 editor supplied with Crysis. Each scene took around 2-5 hours to make, as I was learning more about the editor in the process, and it takes a while to set everything up too.

FarewellThe Second video is called
Farewell and uses the graphical power of the
CryENGINE 2, especially the soft particles, to show you the capability of the engine. Combined with the music
"In Paradisum" by
John Eliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi choir and the shown nuke explosion it is, like the first video, a strong contrast between war and art.

This video shows both the possibilities of the Sandbox 2 Editor for Crysis, and the graphical quality that can be achieved with only a standard gaming computer. A little creativity can lead you a long way with this editor and engine.

this tutorial.
Feel free to discuss about this two videos in the comments. Furthermore, if you would like to see your own video or machinima in one of the upcoming news, feel free to write a short
PM.
