Looks really great, I was thinking of doing a water map myself but now that I've seen your work I'm blown away! Offtopic: I take it that you cancelled Zion?

Yes, Zion is delayed, probably forever. Mostly due to not liking any story that I had for it. There is an update in the Zion thread on it. ----------------- Small update...I have found the perfect location for the second half of my map. It's a North Korean space facility, just off the coast with a connecting harbor. Again real-life works out perfectly. This weekend I will prototype the area in the editor and see if it fits my needs, it may be too large to do in good time. ----------------- Here is a teaser shot for ya'll. Have have a half-a-dozen more, but the rest are spoilers.

You have seen that object before, just used in a different way. On the fleet map there is a hanger where aliens drop though a hole in the ceiling. It uses some of the same objects. However my hole goes all the way though to the flight deck. (If you look carefully you can see some stars though the hole) Here is a second teaser showing the damage from above. (The flight deck has not been populated with objects yet)

I worked on getting the terrain prototyped for the second map in my game. Or course it is again based on a real-world location. This one is actually in North Korea. http://tinyurl.com/9vmvg3The mountains are twice as high compared to real life. At real-world scale the mountains looked too dull in game, and they wouldn't block enough of the player's line of sight to other areas of the map. The map is 8x8Km. Take a look at the aircraft carrier in the harbor (If you can spot it) for scale. The beaches have to be tweaked and then the roads. Plenty of work ahead.
