Yeah the bolter is to thin but with all the planets that make bolters maybe there will be one that looks like yours, thats the great thing with warhammer 40k. Also about the first lasgun I went to the site that had it and it was a airsoft website and that was the concept for one of the guns a guy was making so he did use the G36 probably so he had a good base to build the gun on, but I still think it looks better than the one GW came up with.

I am almost done with the modeling. It just needs a little more detail, then it is on to texturing and rigging. Below are some pics. Tell me what you think. I am not sure why, but there is an extra bolt on the top part of the grip. Ignore that please. I must have missed that :p Sorry, but the pictures are not that great. Photobucket was being a pain in the ... again and decided not to upload the good pics do to some 'error'. I think it's an anti-Afghan conspiracyTell me what you guys think. Thank you Gorea27

That's looking really cool! But I agree the "real" bolter is much much fatter.

It is kinda hard for me to tell the thickness of the bolter because I am just using a WH40K Bolter model as a reference, but I will make it wider and try to post new pics. Thank you Gorea27

Thank's, I try. I really do. It is currently approx. 6,000 triangles. That is low right? I do not know what the limit on weapons is for the CE2. I am pretty much done with the model. I just have to put the skull on the right side of the gun and then get rid of the unnecessary polygons. Then textures and rigging. I will have some newer pics up sometime tomorrow. P.S. I will not make the gun any wider because it just causes problems and makes the rest of the look bad (or 'worse' if this upsets you). Thank you Gorea27

Here are some new pics of the finished model (minus the skull). Sorry, only two pics out of the six that I got. Photobucket did not upload the last 4. At least it uploaded pictures of both sides. I will try to get the rest up soon. I will post more pics when I finish the skull and when I begin to texture it. Tell me what you think Thank you Gorea27

@Cargo:Thank you for your kind words. And, if you want to texture it, PM me. I suck at texturing and would just make it look bad. Quote: Originally posted by metal-matt ... CHAOS SPACE MARINES! ftFW! Calm down, Matt. We all know that Necrons ROXORZ CHAOS' SOXORZ

You're all wrong, Raven Guard Space Marines FTW!!
Nice model mate, though the handle seems like it's using lots of polies.
