Thanks to Wizid for donating this fine rig to >XI< to give away to the winner of a Crysis Wars trny. Here are the details:

Here is how its going to work:

We are going to have rounds of 10 people play for 30 mins on a map, after the 30 min match is done the top 3 scores(including ties) will move on to the next round. After all the 10 person rounds are done, all the people who advanced will play 1 match for 45 mins and the top 5 scores(including ties) from that match will move on to the final round. The championship match will be 45 mins with the top score taking home the prize of a new gaming rig courtesy of Wizid and >XI<.

This will be played on Sunday afternoons around 3 pm central, and will start in middle to late March.
This will be on the hardcore server running DX9, it will also be played on smaller size maps.

gforce 9800 looks tasty... too bad i suck at crysis multiplayer if it was for mw2, id propably have a chance

Bring your own food and drinks with the Tournament, but you might not have time though to consume it! Its allowed to smoke in the server, but not the smokes itselfs.

Just to make things clear. This is not a regular server -- I modded it so that weapon damage is high and nanosuit functions are removed. You are not required to download a mod, just the maps will be downloaded when you join. Enjoy.

Camping not really and you will notice that to stay on one spot in those small maps will not help you
TIP: Pistol/Socom ; you move a bit faster and fun. Jump and Cloak is disabled.

I just tried it out and it does really depend on the map, Terminal has a lot of campers; many good camping spots, so does Graveyard. This "Junkgyard" Map doesnt have many campers. Though, the claymore spot should be more in the middle, so its kinda the "battle place"

And now imagen how the Tournament will go as some people are hungry to win :]
We havent selected the maps to run yet, but will be balanced / mixed. I hope you had some fun.

Tbh, it did really depend on the map. Those with campers equipped with Silenced Scar that kills with 3 shots aren't that fun.
