Woah, can't wait for more on this. So if I understand this correctly, you're making a level? Singleplayer?

Yes, I am. After spending so much time working on textures, I wanted to actually use Sandbox2 to make a map. I've also wanted to do some Sci-Fi for a long time now. It's the perfect setting to make some really amazing scenery that is rare or non-existent on Earth. So, if I make your jaw drop with this map, I've succeeded. I think you will be convinced by the first pictures. And I should have some pictures up soon, the NanoSuit is more or less complete. It's just the technical issues of putting the entire package together and finishing up the utility to work it.

Here is a short trailer I put together. Hopefully it will show what I'm trying to do with this map.

Amazing, now if only someone could make some alien plants and animals for this project, that would really be out of this world.

I've played around with the idea. Especially bioluminescent plants. Edit: Sorry, I forgot my photobucket is broken. Links are fixed now. MushroomsRed FlowersRed Flowers and Purple Glowing FernsI'd like to work these kinds of things into this map.

WOW looks awesome but i think the water is too bright (not the waterfall) apart from that it looks great even though it isn't finished! Great job once again chrome.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you like the idea.
@ Trignite
I usually go for a darker blue water, but I purposely made the water here bright and green-ish. It's all part of the color scheme. It should be Earth-like, but not a replica of Earth. So I'm using some really light sand, and bright water with a more teal-ish color instead of blue. All to give it a more unique look.
Btw. Those picture links above are fixed.
Anybody know a good sound for a waterfall like this? The biggest waterfall sound still sounds too small.
