I tested one thing just now, and concerning the LAM dot - it
might be something with model - I replaced SCAR model with your model - as in only what's between <geometry></geometry> tags, and it didn't work - when I did the same with DSG1, it worked fine... So you might want to check it from that angle...
That is if you haven't resolved it on your side, If you did - on mine it still doesn't work.
Now, some other things - I think that default DSG sound is a bit... unfitting here - I'd probably expect something with less reverb and bass, but I'm no pro at this. If it's possible, I'd recommend getting some better samples, including SCAR silenced sound...
And lastly, concerning the scope - I tested it at some extreme distances, and the fall is too big so to speak. No, wait, let me rephrase it. The fall is OK, but the fourth level of zoom is a bit unnescessary IMHO.
I don't know what the distance exactly was, but korean soldier on fourth level of zoom fitted the top of the SVD scale more or less, and... Screw it, look at the screen:

The background is the view on the cafe (marked by red circle), if you want to know estimated distance and height from which the shot was made.
The scopes show a soldier on an SVD scale (left) and where you have to aim for a bullet to fall at his location (right). Both are at 4th level zoom.
I don't know about you, But i wonder whether this is supposed to work like this... And what's the use of a reticle, since, you know... You still have to aim using intuition.
Apart from those:

, and It definitely stays in my game folder.
(Now if there were some more maps where you could use it properly >.< I already have M107, r700 and this, and so little maps/spots where you can exploit fully their potential >.<)
